500g caster sugar

Instructions
To prepare the Cordial: Place the listed items in a saucepan, heat until it reaches a light boil, agitating so the sugar melts. Next, remove from the burner allowing it to reach room temperature completely. Pour into an sterilised bottle, close it and refrigerate it in the fridge, where it will keep for up to four weeks.
For the Cocktail Base: Mix every spirits and syrup into a sizeable container, leave to sit for one hour, then strain preferably using a fine cloth, so it's completely strained.
To serve: Add 85ml of the cocktail base to a cocktail shaker containing ice, and agitate lightly for one minute until cold. Filter into an cold coupe glass or a similar vessel, garnish with the cranberries and complete it by giving it a quick spritz with the mandarin essence above the glass.
